"We have worked with Woollard Plant on a number of golf course projects over the years including the 36 hole project at Sherfield Oaks, Basingstoke, the 18 hole golf course called The Centurion at Hemel Hempstead and also some smaller projects including re-construction work at Kenilworth G.C., Warwickshire.

Desert Springs Resort and Golf Club
"During 2000, Woollard Plant Ltd was the principal contractor during the construction of the Indiana Golf Course at the Desert Springs Resort & Golf Club, located in Almeria, Spain. Mark Woollard brought many years of experience to the project which was instrumental in building Europe’s first desert golf course.
Mark Woollard and Richard Martin worked very closely with the golf course architect Peter McEvoy and golf course construction superintendent Anthony Brooks, to create a championship golf course and also implement design considerations, to assist golf course maintenance in a desert climate.
Testimony to the quality of The Indiana course, at Desert Springs has been proven through its selection to host the 2001 U-21 Spanish National Championships, the 2004 and 2007 Spanish Amateur Open, and the 2007 Spanish Seniors Professional Open. The course also received international acclaim being awarded the 2005 Bentley Awards for “Best Golf Resort Spain” and is the overseas home for both the Ladies Golf Union (LGU) and the Golf Union of Wales (GUW).
